On Sunday, Sept. 1st, tragedy struck our community when an impaired motorist drove through our patio, killing two and injuring many others. Please extend your love and prayers to our Park Tavern staff and our neighbors at Methodist Hospital. We are at a loss and it will take some time to heal.
We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming support and generosity you have shown in memory of Kristina Folkerts, a server at Park Tavern and a loving mother. We want to share that Park Tavern is currently in the process of creating a trust to ensure that all funds raised will go directly to support Kristina’s young children. This trust will help secure their future, providing them with the stability they need as they navigate life without their mother.

Gabe Harvey, a beloved member of our community lost his life in this tragic event. Gabe was out celebrating with coworkers from Methodist Hospital ICU where Gabe worked as a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) since 2022. Gabe was working as a HUC as he completed nursing school, he was set to graduate in December 2024. Please keep Gabe and his family in your thoughts.
